Users must ensure that all relevant line items, tax rates, values and other information entered is correct before saving.

Once a purchase credit note has been created, users will have the option to download the purchase credit note as a PDF file.

Purchase credit notes for users with integrated accountancy packages

Users with integrated accounting packages will have an option to send a purchase credit note directly to their accounting package. The 'send to accountancy package' link displays in a purchase credit note's 'Actions' drop-down.

Users can cancel a credit note until such times as the credit note is sent to the accountancy package.

If the customer name does not exist in the accounting package, i.e. this is the first time a user deals with the customer via Flowlens, then the user will be prompted to either create a customer in the accounting package, or relate it to an existing customer there

Purchase credit notes for users without integrated accounting packages

Users of the Finance module without integrated accountancy packages can still create purchase credit notes. This can be done by selecting 'New Purchase Credit Note' from the sales credit note index page.
